Hello, lovely to see you here!

A bit more about myself and my design journey

I am Kiwani Dolean, a British-Italian Product Designer based in Bristol, building impactful experiences for startups.

I am a design generalist and a pragmatic idealist, guided by empathy and curiosity at all times. I love bringing structure to chaos and driving innovation – always searching for ways to improve the status quo.

More than anything, I am driven by the desire to create meaningful change and to find solutions to complex problems.

Fun facts

I'm the type who's always illustrating on my iPad, crafting and exploring new ways to be creative with random little projects.

⚡️ This year I’ve been making jewellery, getting creative with my Cricut and tinkering with AI.

I love shiny tech gadgets and gaming. Xbox, PC, Switch, VR – you name it, I play it. Immersive, illustrated games fascinate me.

✨ I’m currently playing Ragnarock on VR and Pokemon on Switch. Stronghold is my go-to PC game (old school, I know!).

I have a soft spot for quirky things and gravitate towards glimmers of joy, finding beauty in the different and the unusual.

🌙 You can see my quirky side in many of my illustration projects, especially my Inktober series.

Also…

In the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor junior designers, give design talks and lead creative workshops. This is something I find particularly fulfilling, as it allows me to share knowledge and learn from other people. Always a joy!

I have also participated in a series of design events and art exhibitions, including my first solo exhibition in Bristol with my Weird Wonderful Words project.

If you want to know more about me, you can read some interviews from recent years.
